Changing The Education Scene In Pakistan; One Teacher At A Time
We pursue our goal to promote education in the areas that are lacking the means necessary to do so. Through the formal and non-formal schools that we have opened in the region, we encourage individuals to improve their quality of life.
The Kawish Child Friendly School is one of the non-formal schools here. It is located in the village Hoot Chanhio, UC Bulri shah Karim Tando Muhammad Khan. The school was opened two years ago. Amongst the many individuals involved with the school, Mr. Aijaz Ali Chanhio has been generously rendering his services since the school was opened.
Aijaz is from the local area. He has successfully completed his matriculation in the sciences. He is a very active person and possesses the talent of motivating and teaching his students. He facilitates and encourages interaction amongst the students in multi-grade classes. He has brilliantly decorated the classes. In addition, he has arranged his classroom to elicit maximum participation from each student.
There are 22 students enrolled here in Kawish CFS. 14 students are in second grade while the remaining 4 students are in nursery, first grade, or fourth grade.
The students have completed oral examinations under the supervision of a personnel nominated by the government, Mr. A. Hakeem Mirjat. Immense discipline and obedience was demonstrated throughout their examinations.
In order to reflect the students’ performance, a few pictures are attached. The visiting official greatly appreciated the teacher’s performance and expressed said satisfaction by giving great reviews about him and the students in the visitor’s book. Such feedback reinforces the successes of the Kawish Child Friendly School and the hard work of Mr. Aijaz Ali Chanhio.
