A very confident Zainab Abbasi stood in front of the hall and delivered her heart-felt appeal to the audience. In it she stressed the urgency of helping the children of Pakistan. HDF has many projects that work towards keeping children off the streets and bringing them into a safe class-room environment. If you can educate a child you can guarantee a better future for them.

This past week-end, Dr. Israr Abbasi, his wife Humera and their children hosted an "Iftar for development" for their family and friends in Chicago. The event took place at Lazzat Restaurant. This was a great opportunity to introduce everyone to HDF and to talk a little about the work HDF is doing in Pakistan. Thanks to these "Iftar for Development" being hosted in Chicago and other communities across North America, we have been successful in conveying our message that HDF is committed to bringing about a positive social change through community empowerment.

With the end of Ramadan, will end the iftar parties and HDF wants to take this opportunity to thank all the families that supported us in our "Iftar for Development" campaign.
