Primary Healthcare

Thanks to donors and volunteers, Primary Healthcare is available for all within HDF program areas.

The focus of this program is on providing preventative measures and educating the population on general health. In addition to the 8 Community Health Centers, built by HDF, Health Screenings and Seminars have also been held in villages to improve general health behaviors for families. These health seminars empower women to live healthier lives and teach their families the importance of diet, cleanliness, and reproductive health.

Over the last few years, the rate of under five mortality in HDF villages has dropped to 33 in 1,000 live births in comparison to 81 in Pakistan.
