The 2025 Pakistan floods have been catastrophic, affecting over 6 million people since late June following a heavier-than-usual monsoon season. The floods primarily affected Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan and Azad Kashmir. The massive floods had impacted both rural heartland and industrial centers for the first time in decades.
More than 1,000 people have been
killed. Over 2 million people have been displaced. More than 12,500 houses damaged,
and 6,500 livestock lost
The Human Development Foundation
has launched a Flood Relief Appeal to
provide urgent aid including food, shelter, and medical supplies to
flood-affected families in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab. Food Supplies have are
being distributed and Medical camps are facilitating the effected families.
