On March 4, 2019, the HDF community suffered a devastating loss
with the passing of Afaf Qayyum, beloved daughter of Drs. Ijaz and Naheed
Qayyum. The Qayyum family have been active supporters of HDF since its
inception. We are deeply saddened by Afaf's passing and she will always be
part of the HDF family. The Qayyum family and friends have created
the HDF Afaf Qayyum Memorial Fund to honor Afaf's commitment to providing
support for marginalized communities and to ensure that her work will
continue. Funds collected will be used to build a solar water filtration
plant in Afaf's honor. Please join us in making this possible. |
